Go Pro is a small camera designed & built to capture the best qualities of point & shoot & camcorder, packs them into a rugged frame that is smaller, waterproof dustproof and virtual indestructible. The cuboid design is an image sensor, processor, ultra wide angle lens and up to three microphones for recording audio in different conditions. The user interface is made up of just two or three buttons and feature touchscreen for more controls especially Hero 5 Black & above models
Go Pros can be used as standalone camera, but thanks to a great mobile app, they also pair perfectly with Android & iOS devices, allowing more functionality & versatility. Using built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, user gain full control over their Go Pro Camera and can even display a live feed of what’s being captured right on the mobile device.
Few tips for effective use:
- Ensure Good Lighting – recommended to shoot close to the nearest light source. Lighting is the key for Go Pro Photography

- Shoot at Sunrise or Sunset or mid day but avoid shooting during late evening/night as the camera has ISO limitation
- Shoot vertical or horizontal to give unique perspective. Use different mounts i.e. shoulder, chest, helmet, jaw clamp, head belt mount etc. to get the cool & amazing picture/video
- Keep it short, say 10-second clips, for better attention of viewers, Create Interest. Go for gradual up & down to create pyramid effect – a natural flow. Best way is to shoot at 30 FPS
- Create a stable video by using software during editing or using accessories or use of EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) or rolling equipment’s to roll around
- Move like a master, if you are PANNING make sure you are moving in one direction. Don’t give jerks in shootings – Jerks gives a horrible feel
- Pick your music before your start editing. Music is everything. It will make all the difference to express emotions/feelings
