Have Confidence before shooting Make sure to charge battery & have enough Memory Card/ Films to shoot Travel light Pick up the right lens for your camera shoot Make sure to set the camera setting – RAW/JPEG/ISO /Aperture/Exposure/Single or Multiple release/Shutter Speed etc. Prefer to shoot in RAW so that you can do post processing Check your white balance/depth of field etc. Check your lens & filters for any foreign particles such as dust/sand/Moisture Zoom in & check the distracting elements in your frame, if any Take more & more pictures to gain your skills Lock your composition, tripod & rotating head position Fill the Frame with what you like Have a concept in mind… Eliminate Distractions…. Get closure to subject Simplify & Exaggerate Don’t always center your object Create depth in your picture to pull people/object in your picture Connect the dots, build a story line Perspective is everything Light is everything Bounce the flash Break the rules for experiment Get to know your model, if you are going for portraits Using lens hood is not necessary Using filter is not worthy… it only protect lens and add no value Always be ready for your shots Create your own […]
